Founded by Robert E. Reinhard, CPCU, the agency’s early growth and success was primarily the result of acquisitions. During the last three decades, the agency’s accelerated growth and success have been accomplished by the development of a strong internal production and support team responsible for the new production and retention of commercial and personal lines accounts.

• Richard E. Reinhard, son of the founder, and current President of Reinhard Insurance Group, joined the agency in 1972. Rick became Executive Vice President in 1979, President in 1982 and sole Stockowner/Principal in 1986.
• Chris Birkhead joined Reinhard Insurance as a Commercial Lines Producer in 1983, became Vice President/Principal in 1987 and Executive Vice President in 2001. Under Chris’ leadership, our commercial lines have grown into a significant part of the agency’s business mix.
• Alan Goodrich, AAI, joined the agency as a Commercial Lines Producer in 1992 and became Vice President in 2001. In addition to producing and servicing commercial lines accounts, Alan works closely with Chris in continuing the development and growth of the agency's commercial lines business.

Today Reinhard Insurance Group is one of the most successful and respected independent insurance agencies in the Lehigh Valley region, insuring thousands of businesses and families.
